Hey, remember Project 50 Places? No, well it's the awesome project I'm working on where I visit 50+ Parks and locations around Greater Victoria with my kids to compile a large photo list of possible locations for your next photography session with Fawn Lily Photography. I've already blogged about Saxe Point and King Francis Park. Despite what it might seem like, I haven't forgotten, I promise. I'm still working on it! Here are some shots of Macauley Point that we visited about a month ago now. Macauley Point is in Esquimalt, around the corner from Saxe Point Park.
It features a nice dock, a beautiful walkway right up to the ocean, some nice hills and grassy areas. There is a split log fence (great for family poses) and, as my kids discovered, lots and lots of puddles. The puddles are temporary. With sailboats in the background, this would be a great park for a family session in the summer.
Make sure to follow Fawn Lily Photography, Sidney Photographer on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with Project 50 Places and to see some of my favourite (and secret) photography locations. Up next is Elk Lake Park (though fair warning, the children were NOT cooperating). And then after that, I am going exploring on the Saanich Peninsula where we are blessed to live now. Know a good spot? Leave a comment and I'll add it to my list!
